Virtual Science of Oil Spills (WA ECY)

The Washington Department of Ecology has long recommended both their responders and planners take NOAA's SOS class, often providing lists of 20-30 students for 5-10 available seats. The idea behind this online training is to meet WA ECY’s training demand without providing them more seats in the in-person SOS class. 

Live sessions meet virtually in an Adobe Connect "classroom." This "library" houses all the announcements, resources, and links needed throughout the course.
